We went on a hike up Quigley Ridge. It was cloudy, and the clouds were low enough that once we got a little altitude, we were hiking through them.
We hiked on the tundra, which is sort of a mossy texture, with lichen and small flowers all mixed together. It is very spongy -- you bounce when you walk across it. Here's what it looks like:
We didn't see any (big) animals this day, but we saw signs of a bear:
After the hike, we just poked around our lodge a bit. That night we went out to Wonder Lake, but it was pretty cloudy and we couldn't see much.
